What Is Basic Difference In Wifi And Lifi Technology

What Is Wi-Fi?

WiFi  technology providing network connectivity by the using of  radio waves.

WiFi Stand For?

You will be amazed to hear that many people  don't surely understand that WiFi is an abbreviated word. Even folks that do don't always know what WiFi stands for. There are many theories about it. but the main definition  is wireless fidelity.

How Does WiFi Works ?

A Wi-Fi network makes use of radio waves to transmit Information or Data across or other network. The information will be sent to the Internet via a wired Ethernet connection.

What Does Wi-Fi Frequencies used ?

  1. The 802.11a will transmit data on the  frequency level of 5GHz.
  2. The 802.11b will be Send data at a frequency level of 2.4GHz.
  3. The 802.11g will be transmit information at 2.4GHz but can transmit a maximum of 54 megabits of information per second.

What Is LI-FI?

Light fidelity or Li-Fi is a Visible Light Communications (VLC) system that work with wireless communications for travelling information at very high speeds

Founder Of LI-FI

German physicist Harald Haas Invented LI-FI during  a TED talk

How LiFi Technology Work?

When applied a constant current to LED (light-emitting-diode) light bulb, This means that it accommodates a photo-detector to receive light signals and a signal processing element to convert the data into 'stream-able' content. If the current is varied dimmed, the output intensity of the light dims up and down. That’s Why LED bulbs are semiconductor devices, the current, and hence the optical output, can be modulated at extremely high speeds which can be detected by a photo detector device and converting  back to electrical current. The intensity modulation is imperceptible to the human eye, and thus communication is just as seamless as RF [radio frequency technology]. Using this technique, high-speed information can be transmitted from an LED light bulb.
